Founded
RFM was founded in 1979 by three engineers from Texas Instruments to design and manufacture low-power radio frequency (RF) products using surface acoustic wave (SAW) technology. Over the ensuing years, RFM has shipped millions of these devices to a worldwide customer base in multiple industries and applications.
